With 2027 around the corner, we’re looking back on what made 2026 such an incredible year at the CSE. In January, we launched into full gear by exchanging insights at VRIC, hosting the Global Interlisting Seminar and our annual Mining Over Canada Reception, travelling to the U.S. for mining and microcap conferences, and releasing a special episode of our podcast.
VRIC 2026
Once again, we started 2026 off strong with one of mining’s biggest events: the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference (VRIC). Presented by Cambridge House International President and CEO Jay Martin, this year’s event took place on January 25-26 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
As always, VRIC attracted thousands of investors and hundreds of junior mining companies to showcase the exploration and production of the world’s most needed critical commodities.
Amidst international geopolitical uncertainty and heightened interest in critical commodities, this year’s VRIC dove into topics that were pressing at the start of 2026 and continue to remain relevant, including emerging markets, AI, and shifts in the international currency landscape.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to chat with the CSE team and connected with us during the event. It was great catching up with old friends, meeting new folks, and discussing developments at the Exchange.
Additionally, we want to shout out the CSE listed issuers that exhibited, including:
55 North Gold (formerly 55 North Mining) (CSE:FFF)
It was great to catch up and to see the CSE so well represented at the event. And thank you to the whole Cambridge House International team for another memorable VRIC!
The Global Interlisting Seminar: Canada, Australia, USA and Beyond
During VRIC, we hosted The Global Interlisting Seminar: Canada, Australia, USA and Beyond alongside the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) and OTC Markets Group.
At this year’s session, we unpacked our acquisition of the NSX and what it means for Canadian public companies looking to expand their global footprint, including the checklist for NSX readiness and strategic advantages of positioning public companies for multi-market investor engagement.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this exciting exploration of the opportunities created by this cross-border ecosystem.
Plus, it was a pleasure to have the NSX’s Eduardo Carmona and OTC Markets Group’s Jason Paltrowitz share their insights alongside the CSE’s James Black and Anna Serin.
Thank you to our co-hosts for making this event one to remember, and to The Vancouver Club for providing a fantastic venue.
Our annual event to close out VRIC, Mining Over Canada & Australia Reception, was one for the books!
Joined by our friends at the NSX, this year’s event served as a platform for sharing further insights into the CSE’s acquisition of this Australian exchange.
3rd Annual Canadian Critical Minerals Opportunities Forum
Beyond VRIC, we also attended the 3rd Annual Canadian Critical Minerals Opportunities Forum in New York City.
Hosted by the Government of Canada and key partners, this exclusive, deal-making event brought together Canadian junior mining companies and U.S. investors and industry executives to explore what Canada has to offer in the critical minerals space.
CSE Senior Advisor of Listings Development Scott Pritchard enjoyed connecting with friends old and new during the forum.
We were pleased to return to the DealFlow Discovery Conference (formerly The Microcap Conference) for the biggest edition of the event to date.
The energy was palpable at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where high-growth public and private companies, investors, and deal-makers converged over a productive agenda of networking sessions and panel discussions.
Plus, it was great to catch up with CSE listed companies that presented at the event, including FendX Technologies (CSE:FNDX), First Phosphate (CSE:PHOS), Grown Rogue International (CSE:GRIN), and Nerds On Site (CSE:NERD).
Thank you to DealFlow Events for organizing and having us!
On a special episode of The Canadian Securities Exchange Podcast, we had legendary resource investor Rick Rule on to share his expert insights following his keynote address at the 13th Annual Precious Metals Summit Zurich.
Recorded on location at the Summit, this episode, “Forecasting Cross-border Market & Mineral Trends with Rick Rule,” explored secular bull markets, copper, oil and gas, and more.
Specifically, Rule outlined why he believes gold is in a long-running bull market driven by currency debasement and negative real rates, and why copper and oil & gas are setting up for powerful moves as decades of underinvestment collide with rising demand and capital constraints.
Thank you to Rick Rule for joining us for this special episode!
